GLM #84 team finds new sponsorship.

Fenton, MI - 15 June 2013:  Great Lakes Motorsports driver Jake Fisher to welcome the multiple new sponsors coming on board the #84 Ford Fusion.  Genii Business Exchange will start as a primary sponsor for multiple races in this upcoming Piston Cup season along side secondary sponsors such as Clear Men, Microsoft Dynamics, Burn Energy, and Rexona Men.  "I'm extremely excited to get these guys on board with us" said Fisher.  "We're breaking ground on a new era of sponsorship in this series, and that get's me excited to get going.  This GLM team works hard and plays harder, and I think that'll pay off when we impress these guys with results and give them a reason to stay on our car."  Fisher, a past VSR champion, finished second in points after a hard charge and four victories this past season.

Bass Pro Shops leaving #3. Kevin Dwight Racing to fold?: Reports circled around the garage area Wednesday at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park that indicated that Bass Pro Shops will be leaving Kevin Dwight's #3 Chevrolet at the end of the season. In an interview during practice, Dwight said "I don't know. They don't even actually sponsor us. It's a game. How did you get into my house?" Bass Pro Shops has remained suspiciously silent on the matter (Fox Sports) (8-21-2013)

Fodde to return to VSR

Florissant, MO- After an absence in the VSR leagues, Paul Fodde is set to make a return in his #51 Adidas Chevrolet for his own team, Fodde Motorsports. "I'm excited to return to the VSR Piston Cup Series." Fodde said. "My cars are old ones from UNSR.. but I'm sure they are good enough for this series." Fodde hasn't run VSR in a while, but made his return at Homestead in the VSR Truck Series. He finished 7th, and plans to run a full season in the VSR Truck Series in the #15 Revolution Racing Toyota.
